Valentine’s Day Activities: Things to Do in New Bern, NC

Valentine’s Day is nearing, which means many businesses in the area are preparing for a surge in customers. Whether you’re getting flowers and chocolates or trying to find a romantic restaurant, there are a number of places to visit in New Bern. That’s why we at Trent Cadillac have created a list of spots to visit and things to do on Valentine’s Day.

According to WITN, you should stop at Occasions to Celebrate. Whether you’re looking for presents for a special someone or you just want to let others know that you care, you can find most of what you need at this retailer. As Scott Price, the co-owner of Occasions to Celebrate, says, “Roses, stuffed animals, and balloons. We do a lot with all three of those categories and chocolates.”

There are also tons of restaurants in the area. We won’t list them all, but there are some to consider if you’re looking for fine-dining. Bay Leaf is great for those who love Indian food, while Morgan’s Tavern is a classic steakhouse. Bakers Kitchen has vegetarian options for those who have dietary restrictions, while La Rosa has classic Italian that’s perfect for any date night.

Looking for Valentine’s Day activities? If your date loves games, you should consider Room Escape Games. Boat tours can be romantic for many, though it may be a bit chilly this time of year, and the Bear City Fudge Company is great for those with a sweet tooth. These are just some of the many things you can do during Valentine’s Day this year.
