Concept vehicles are a unique way for automakers to foreshadow the future design direction of the brand and to try out some truly out-of-the-box ideas. These vehicles are typically not manufactured as is, but they often influence the design of current and upcoming models. So what does the current lineup of Cadillac concept vehicles include?
Escala is Spanish for “scale,” a clever name as the Escala concept is meant to accentuate Cadillac’s classic proportion while bringing it into the future. Signature elements of the Cadillac Escala concept include OLED lighting, a bold grille, cashmere door trim and seating, and more premium materials like leather, brushed aluminum, and American walnut.
The Elmiraj grand coupe concept hints at the future of two-door coupe design. With a nod to the classic El Dorado, the Elmiraj is elegant, yet athletic, with wide swinging doors and a long wheelbase. Interior materials include handpicked fallen Brazilian Rosewood and cut-and-sewn camel leather.
The open-air Cadillac Ciel convertible concept reimagines the classic design of large four-seat convertibles and catapults it into the future. The Ciel concept takes its name from the French word for “sky.” Its exterior is boldly styled with large rear-hinged doors, a long body, and a short nose.
Here at Trent Cadillac, we look forward to seeing how Cadillac incorporates elements from these concept vehicles into it future lineup.

Focus On Specific Needs
While we appreciate the work veterans have done for our country, there are many veterans who need help with specific needs, such as being elderly, homeless, or unemployed. Volunteer or donate to one of these groups if you’d like to help.
As far back as the 1930s, celebrities have been driving Cadillacs. Jean Harlow drove a Cadillac V-12 and was photographed with it in 1930, and the legendary Clark Gable was styling in a Cadillac convertible. Iconic stars like Clint Eastwood, Marlene Dietrich, Rita Hayworth, and even Ronald Reagan (not yet president) were Cadillac drivers. There’s even a photo of Elvis Presley getting a parking ticket for his Caddy.
More recently, Cadillac—especially the Cadillac Escalade—has been a top pick of celebrities, with everyone from soccer star David Beckham to infamous stars of Jersey Shore Snooki and DJ Pauly D driving one. The mega-rich CEO of Berkshire Hathaway Warren Buffett drove a Cadillac DTS for almost a decade and stayed loyal to the brand when he upgraded to an XTS, auctioning his DTS for over $120,000.
Cadillac’s reliable, feature-packed, luxurious vehicles are a perfect choice for celebrities, but they’re still affordable for many average buyers. If you want to drive like a celeb, give us a call today at Trent Cadillac and set up a test drive.
The all-new 2018 Cadillac CT6 has arrived on our lot here at Trent Cadillac, and we could not be any more excited.
So what’s new for the 2018 Cadillac CT6? Quite a lot actually. Here are just some of the exciting updates to the CT6:
While Cadillac has removed some colors (Dark Emerald Metallic, Moonstone Metallic, Phantom Gray Metallic, and Red Passion Tintcoat), it has also added several new colors, including Red Horizon Tintcoat, Satin Steel Metallic, and Stone Gray Metallic.
Updates to the Rear Camera Mirror.
Cadillac has added a high-pressure washer to the rear-facing lens for improved visibility.
Inside, the 2018 CT6 gets auto-ventilated front seats, an automatic heated steering wheel, and a leather-wrapped driver-side airbag cover on the steering wheel on the Platinum trim.
The CUE infotainment system has been updated, now in version 2.6. This gives drivers two new features. The first is Teen Driver, which allows parents to monitor the driving habits of new drivers and give feedback when necessary. The second is CUE Collection, which allows drivers to install apps that serve to improve the driving experience.

Trent Cadillac is very honored and absolutely ecstatic to announce that we have won a Cadillac Mark of Excellence Master Dealer Award for 2016. This is a highly coveted award among Cadillac dealers across the United States, and only 40 dealers earned it this year. Trent Cadillac was the only dealer in North Carolina to earn this distinction.
What does the Cadillac Mark of Excellence Master Dealer Award indicate? To us, it is an indicator of our excellence in our sales and service departments and overall customer experience. That makes it as much our award as it is an award earned by and for our loyal customers here in North Carolina. It is only with your dedication to us and your willingness to allow us to sell to you and service your vehicles that we were able to earn this distinction.
You can see our dedicated staff receiving the award in the Facebook post below. Included in the photos are Manny Kahsai (Used Sales Manager), Paul Hewson (Service Manager), Pete and Mike Deichmann (owners), Randy Lacasse (Cadillac District Sales Manager), Jeff Mooring (General Manager), and Kelly Key (New Sales Manager).
Congrats to all of the staff at Trent Cadillac Buick GMC, and a big thank you to our loyal customers.
While many of us do not like it when things change, change can often be a good thing. That is what we think about Trent Cadillac’s website. We are still part of the Trent Automotive group, we are still in the same location, we still have the same great Cadillac inventory, and we still have the same great staff here to serve you. The only change is that we now have a new, dedicated website to serve our great Cadillac customers.
With this new site, TrentCadillac.com, it will be easier to find the inventory you are looking for and the services you need without having to filter through the Buick and GMC brands. With Cadillac special offers and information front and center on the site, you can find what you need quickly and easily.
This site makes shopping for a new or pre-owned Cadillac more convenient, and will help to save you time. And, of course, since we are still in the same great location, you can always come visit us and receive the same excellent service you are used to.
